Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson, was the son of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the American doctor and Thelma B. Burnell Henson. Michele Carey, or Michele Lee Henson, was first born on February 26, 1942, in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. While still a teenager she excelled at playing the piano, and at age 13 she won an international contest at Chicago Music Festival. Her home was at Fort Collins, Colorado with her family and had her high school education at Fort Collins High School where she graduated in 1960.
