Yael Stone

Stone was brought up within Sydney, Australia, where she went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). Stone started her acting career when she was just a child. She acted in roles such as Me Myself and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She won Best Newcomer in the Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. In addition, she worked on TV, including supporting roles in All Saints and Spirited. The actress was on the screen from 2010 until the year 2011 on The Diary of a Madman. For this role, she was nominated for the Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. In February 2011 she went across the country to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of The Diary of a Madman, before returning to the lead roles of A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
